The year 2025 has bestowed upon Amber Heard a Mother's Day like no other, as she joyously announced the arrival of her twin children. On Sunday, the actress took to her Instagram page to celebrate "the culmination of the family I have tirelessly aspirations to create for numerous years." Her newborn daughter, Agnes, and son, Ocean, now join their elder sister, Oonagh, aged 4, in their ever-expanding brood.
"Mother's Day 2025 will forever etch itself into my memory," Heard penned with emotion. "This year, my joy knows no bounds as I celebrate the fulfillment of the family I have yearned to build for so long. Today, I proudly share the blessed news that twins have gracefully entered the Heard family fold. My daughter Agnes and my son Ocean have filled my arms (and heart) to overflowing. When Oonagh, my firstborn princess, arrived four years ago, my universe was forever transformed. I believed my capacity for joy could not possibly expand further. However, today, that joy has tripled in abundance!!!"
She further expressed, "Embarking on the motherhood journey solo and on my own terms, despite the fertility hurdles I faced, has been the most humbling and profound experience of my life. I am endlessly thankful for having the privilege to make this choice with responsibility and contemplation. To all the mothers out there, wherever you may be and however your journey has unfolded, my cherished family and I celebrate alongside you."
Following the birth of her twins, Heard's representative issued a statement to People magazine, adding, "Amber is overjoyed to welcome her twins and to have her family now complete. Mama and her little ones are savoring every precious moment. And Oonagh, ever the spirited leader, is happily directing the show."
Having relocated to Spain after her legal dispute with her ex-husband, Johnny Depp, concluded in 2022, the actress from 'Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom' had earlier revealed in 2021 that she had welcomed her first daughter after deciding that she "desired to become a mother" and "wanted to embark on this journey on my own terms."
