Andy Cohen isn't dodging questions when it comes to plastic surgery rumors. The star of "Watch What Happens Live" addressed speculation about his appearance after a social media user reacted to his cohosting role alongside longtime friend Anderson Cooper on CNN's "New Year's Eve Live" special on December 31.
"I just saw the new clips of Andy Cohen on NYE," the user wrote in a post on "Threads" on January 1. "And WTF did he do to his face?!"

In response, Andy, 57, explained the factors that contributed to his striking appearance during the annual broadcast. "I did the smallest amount of Botox and lost 20 pounds," he wrote back on the social media platform on January 2. "And had a lot of makeup on."
Months earlier, Andy—who is a father to children Ben, 6, and Lucy, 3—shared details about his health journey, which involved the use of an Ozempic-like weight loss drug. "I did, this summer, lose a good chunk of weight by micro-dosing a GLP-1," he revealed on his SiriusXM radio show "Andy Cohen Live" in September. "I was really unhappy with my weight. My doctor and I talked about this last year, and had recommended a GLP-1 a few times to not only address what I was feeling about my weight, but to treat plaque in my arteries and high blood pressure."
"This is a medication that actually is beneficial to a lot of elements of health," Andy continued. "And I finally said 'yes.'"
The late-night staple also pointed out that while he still drinks in moderation, he has cut out "excess snacking" and adheres to a "pretty rigorous" fitness routine. "My fitness has never been better," he added.
And Andy insisted that he "did always plan" to discuss his experience with the drug publicly, given his job of asking probing questions on his talk show and during "Real Housewives" reunions. "I feel so strongly that I can't be the one asking all the personal questions of, specifically, the Housewives," he noted. "How did you do it? What did you do to your face? How did you do the weight loss?' And then be the guy who's suddenly lost 25 lbs but isn't mentioning it."
