Ann-Margret isn't quite ready to wave goodbye to the cameras just yet. The iconic star of "Bye Bye Birdie," who has kept a relatively low profile in recent years, graced the red carpet at Project Angel Food's Lead With Love fundraiser in Los Angeles on June 28th. At 84, Ann-Margret radiated joy as she stepped out in a chic ensemble comprising a long-sleeved black tunic, sleek black leggings, and knee-high patterned boots. Accessorizing with a shimmering silver cross necklace, she styled her strawberry blonde hair with trendy curtain bangs.

The star-studded event also welcomed the likes of Lori Loughlin, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Matt Bomer, and Cameron Mathison, among others. The celebrity phone bank buzzed with activity, manned by Amy Yasbeck, Bianca Del Rio, and Duff Goldman, to name a few. The fundraiser was cohosted by Eric McCormack, comedian Loni Love, and KTLA morning news anchor Jessica Holmes.

During the gala, Ann-Margret (born Ann-Margret Olsson) shared a heartwarming moment with Eric after he lauded her "mesmerizing '60s dance moves that enthralled the globe," likening her to "the female Elvis." Eric, an alumnus of "Will & Grace," exclaimed, "You revolutionized how a generation danced. Where do those incredible moves originate? Does everyone in Sweden dance with such finesse?"

With a playful grin, she replied, "My heart and my seat."

Moreover, fans might soon witness more of Ann-Margret, or at least delve deeper into her captivating story. A biopic is in the works, with Lindsay Lohan set to portray the Swedish-American actress. "We're actively developing the narrative," Lindsay confirmed during an episode of "Watch What Happens Live" in November 2024. "It's thrilling."

The "Parent Trap" star elaborated on the potential dance training required for the film, telling host Andy Cohen, "It's going to be pretty intense." She continued, "It has to meet her standards. So, I genuinely want it to be special in that regard."
