Ariana Grande revealed in a recent conversation with Nicole Kidman for Interview magazine that her upcoming world tour, titled the 2026 Eternal Sunshine tour, will be significantly smaller in scale compared to her previous endeavors. The 32-year-old singer-actress disclosed that the tour will consist of approximately 45 shows, marking a significant drop from the number of concerts she used to embark on in her earlier tours. "It's not exactly tiny, but it's at least half of what I used to do," she remarked, expressing genuine excitement for this scaled-down run as she reestablishes her connection with music.

Grande shared that she has invested considerable time restructuring her approach to music-making. The Eternal Sunshine tour felt different because stepping away from the glare of the spotlight allowed her to separate the pure joy of creation from the pressures of fame. This break helped her reconnect with her "gifts" without the emotional weight she previously carried as a public figure. "With Eternal Sunshine, that felt like a very different experience for me," she said. "I believe the time away from it helped me reclaim certain aspects of my identity and put certain feelings, perhaps tied to my relationship with fame or the [negative] aspects that come with being an artist, in a box elsewhere, and say, 'Okay. I don't have to let go of this thing I love. I can just put those things over here and not lose sight of my true talents.'"
Furthermore, Grande added that playing Glinda in Wicked and Wicked: For Good also contributed to her reshaping how she sees herself as a pop artist, allowing her to embrace her unique talents with renewed perspective.
