The Atlanta-based rapper Young Scooter, who had collaboratively crafted musical magic with the likes of Future and Gucci Mane, has tragically passed away at the age of 39. Kenneth Edward Rashaad Bailey, professionally known as The Streetz Krazy artist, breathed his last on his very birthday, Friday, after being rushed to the Grady Marcus Trauma Center from a locale on the city's southeast side.
According to reports by TMZ, Lieutenant Andrew Smith of the Atlanta Police Department revealed that Bailey, in an attempt to evade police on foot, sustained grave injuries to his leg while vaulting over fences. This harrowing sequence of events ultimately led to his untimely demise. It is presumed that Scooter was one of two individuals officers spotted dashing out the rear of a residence while responding to a disturbance call. Smith emphatically clarified that no gunfire was exchanged during this harrowing incident.
Bailey, born on March 28, 1986, in Walterboro, South Carolina, embarked on his musical journey under the moniker Young Scooter following a 2008 drug trafficking charge. A lifelong friend of Future, Scooter shared the stage and studio with the three-time Grammy Award winner long before securing his mainstream breakthrough with his acclaimed 2013 mixtape, 'Street Lottery'.
