Jenn Tran is chuckling away at the unexpected production delay of The Bachelorette. Weeks have passed since fans discovered that the 22nd season of The Bachelor spin-off wouldn't be returning during its usual summer timeframe. When questioned about the series' hiatus at the Cape Radiance Gala red carpet in Los Angeles on March 24, the current Bachelorette lead gave a humorous response.
"I'm clueless about that. Long live Jenn Tran as the final Bachelorette! I'd absolutely love that," the 27-year-old reality star quipped. Tran was at the gala with her former Dancing with the Stars partner, Sasha Farber, amidst the undefined status of their relationship.
Previously, the season 21 lead had shared her thoughts on the dating show's hiatus with PEOPLE. "It came as a shock to me. The franchise has been running for so long. Sometimes you hear rumors about why shows take a break. But I have no clue why or what's happening. I genuinely don't know," she said last month.
However, she speculated at the time about the possible reasons behind the delay. "The Bachelorette usually airs in the summer when people are traveling. I've heard it doesn't perform as well as The Bachelor, which is broadcast in the fall when people are at home and ready to watch TV. So maybe this will give the next Bachelorette a chance to air at a time with more visibility. That would be wonderful," she added.
At the Cape Radiance Gala red carpet, Tran also talked about a recent Instagram video of her and Farber performing a choreographed dance to Sabrina Carpenter's "15 Minutes." "I'm still mastering the art of dancing. I'm getting my money's worth," Tran said, before addressing if dance lessons are compulsory when spending time with Farber. "Yes, absolutely, right, honey? Right? Yeah," she said beside Farber, who replied, "I love teaching her to dance."
"He's my landlord, my social media manager. He's everything," she added with a grin.
