As the tantalizing set photos from "Avengers: Doomsday" start to seep into the public domain, whispers emerge of a leaker who boldly infiltrated the ultra-confidential movie set and now claims to have received a "stern warning." Posting on Instagram (via Reddit) under the moniker 'theyneversawitcomingg,' the leaker announced, "Received my first 'formal threat.' Might be in hot water now."
Recently, this mystery individual shared snapshots seemingly depicting the streets of Madripoor, the mythical southeast Asian island-state that made an appearance in "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier" and various X-Men comic arcs. It's hardly surprising if Marvel Studios has decided to crack down on the leaker – the studio is desperate to keep the secrets of "Doomsday" tightly under wraps, to the extent that some cast members hadn't even laid eyes on the script two weeks into filming.
"I've had a brief overview of the concept," revealed Kelsey Grammer, who portrays Beast. "They're still very hush-hush about the script." And he's not the only one shrouded in ignorance. "Thunderbolts" co-stars David Harbour and Wyatt Russell were clueless about each other's involvement when production kicked off last month. Harbour shared with GamesRadar+, "I had a vague idea I was part of it, but I didn't know anyone else was, I didn't have a storyline, no script, nothing like that."
Joining Grammar, Harbour, and Russell is a star-studded ensemble featuring Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Simu Liu, Paul Rudd, Florence Pugh, Pedro Pascal, the entire "Fantastic Four," and, of course, Robert Downey Jr. reprising his role as Doctor Doom.
