Move over, Ben Affleck—there's a new Affleck in town, vying for the throne of Dunkin' royalty! Just four months after Jen Affleck clarified that she and her husband, Zac Affleck, weren't actually kin to the Oscar-winning actor despite initially claiming so, she teamed up with Ben for Dunkin's latest commercial, playfully exaggerating their supposed familial ties.
In the Sept. 15 ad, when a Dunkin' employee shouted out an "order for Affleck," it was none other than the star of "Secret Lives of Mormon Wives"—whose husband had once claimed to be the second cousin of Ben and Casey Affleck—who stepped up to claim the breakfast order. "Expecting my cousin, Ben? Nah," Jen quipped. "When Dunkin' has something packed with amazing value, they bring me in—Jen Affleck, the value Affleck."
She went on, "Twice the personality, half the price. I'm a steal." The 26-year-old was ready to stake her claim as the Affleck of choice, explaining why she thinks Ben—who has been a Dunkin' brand ambassador since 2023—shouldn't hold the title of DunKing. "You know what's not value? Ben," she declared. "Why overpay for something nobody wants? He's so dated. I'm younger, hotter. Can you believe Ben's only 53? And it's not like a young 53, it's like a weathered 53."
Meanwhile, Ben—father to Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 13, with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner—overheard Jen's diatribe as he waited for his order at the drive-thru. "Rude!" he shot back.
Though the reality star—who shares kids Nora, 3, Lucas, 2, and 2-month-old Penelope with Zac—jokingly admitted the exchange was "bad," she added of Ben, "but not as bad as those grays."
The "Accountant" actor fired back, "Totally average 53, right down the 53 fairway."
Although Jen and Zac had once shared that they were related to Ben through Zac's dad, Dave Affleck, the reality star admitted that it wasn't until "Secret Wives" debuted that she learned there was no actual familial connection. "I'm still shocked," she emphasized to Us Weekly in May.
