Apple TV+ has officially given the green light to an enthralling new limited series, *The Off Weeks*, featuring the stellar talents of Ben Stiller and Jessica Chastain in the leading roles. Both actors are set to take on executive producer duties as well, adding a layer of creative depth to the project.
*The Off Weeks* centers around Gus Adler, a writing professor grappling with the challenges of adjusting to his new identity as a divorced father. During his "on weeks"—when he has custody of his children—Gus strives to preserve a semblance of normalcy. However, his world takes a dramatic and unexpected twist when he crosses paths with Stella West, an enigmatic woman, during his "off weeks." As Gus finds himself irresistibly drawn to Stella and falls deeply in love, his responsibilities and aspirations begin to clash, sending his life spiraling down a perilous and uncertain path.
The series will be steered by showrunner Alissa Nutting, renowned for her acclaimed work on *Made for Love* and *Teenage Euthanasia*. At the helm of the project is Michael Showalter, who has developed the series through his production company, Semi-Formal Productions.

In addition to his role in *The Off Weeks*, Stiller is also hard at work on a poignant documentary feature, *Stiller & Meara: Nothing Is Lost*, which delves into the lives and legacy of his parents, the beloved comedy duo Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara. This documentary is slated to premiere on Apple TV+.
Meanwhile, Chastain is set to captivate audiences once again in the upcoming Apple Original thriller *The Savant*, which is scheduled to make its debut on September 26. She will also star alongside Adam Driver in an art-world drama titled *The Dealer*, promising yet another compelling performance.
