Destiny's Child made a triumphant return with their catchy anthem, "Cater 2 U!" On Saturday, July 26, Beyoncé thrilled her fans during the grand finale of her Cowboy Carter show in Las Vegas by reuniting onstage with her former bandmates, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, for an unforgettable Destiny's Child performance.
For the first time in years, the trio mesmerized the audience at Allegiant Stadium with a medley of their timeless hits, stomping their way through the stage to a thunderous applause. In a TikTok video shared by an attendee, the 43-year-old Beyoncé momentarily vanished from the stage as the music continued to echo through the arena. Just seconds later, she reappeared, joined by the 44-year-old Rowland and the 46-year-old Williams, amidst rousing cheers as their iconic song "Independent Women" blared.
"Destiny's Child, bitches!" Beyoncé exclaimed to the ecstatic crowd, before strutting across the stage with Rowland and Williams to their 2004 smash hit "Lose My Breath." The group then treated fans to Beyoncé's 2022 hit "Energy" before challenging them to the infamous Mute Challenge.
The trio brought their performance to a rousing close with their 2001 anthem "Bootylicious," with Beyoncé hugging Williams and Rowland onstage. As the song ended, Beyoncé addressed the crowd, "Give it up for Destiny's Child!" as they made their exit.
Their last performance together was back in 2018 during Beyoncé's Coachella set. Offstage, the trio also reunited with former bandmates LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett during Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour in 2023.
Formed in Houston in the early 1990s, Destiny's Child released their self-titled debut album in 1998 and their third and final album, Destiny's Fulfilled, in 2004. Rowland and Williams' onstage reunion with Beyoncé in Las Vegas follows their appearances at several shows during the Cowboy Carter Tour. Earlier in July, Williams attended the singer's show in Washington, D.C., while Kelly was spotted at Beyoncé's concert in Paris in June.
Beyoncé wrapped up her Cowboy Carter Tour on Saturday after performing in cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, London, Paris, Houston, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, and Las Vegas. During her final show, she also performed with special guests Shaboozey and her husband, Jay-Z. The Cowboy Carter Tour marked the conclusion of the singer's second part of a three-act project, which kicked off with the Renaissance album and tour in 2022-2023.
