Even Beyoncé was awestruck by the legendary Stevie Nicks! The "16 Carriages" singer was utterly charmed by the Fleetwood Mac musician at the 2026 Met Gala on Monday, May 4th. Nicks joined Sabrina Carpenter, 26, on stage inside the Gala, where Beyoncé, 44, was serving as one of the evening's celebrity co-chairs. Queen Bey attended fashion's grandest night alongside her husband, Jay-Z, 56, and their 14-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy.

Hugh Jackman, a fellow guest, shared a special behind-the-scenes moment between mother and daughter during an appearance on the Today show on Wednesday, May 6th. "Sabrina Carpenter gets up, and Stevie Nicks comes out. Stevie Nicks came out and sang," Jackman, 57, recalled. "I'm gonna do some more name dropping, but there was Beyoncé and Rihanna, and I looked over and saw Beyoncé hugging her daughter with tears in her eyes. I was like, that moment right there, that was priceless."

There has been online chatter that Nicks, 77, could be involved in Beyoncé's highly anticipated Act III album, which is rumored to be rock-influenced. After the "Drunk in Love" singer posted a throwback video of her and the rest of Destiny's Child with Nicks in 2001, her mom, Tina Knowles, 72, shared the same clip to her Instagram page on Friday, May 1st.

"Before we met her, we were scared, but then when she walked in, she was so warm," Beyoncé said in the clip. "We were like, 'You gotta do our video!'" Nicks appeared in the girl group's "Bootylicious" music video, which famously sampled Nicks' song "Edge of Seventeen."

Last week, Today with Jenna & Sheinelle confirmed that Beyoncé did not plan to announce Act III during the Met Gala week, despite Beyhive speculation. "It doesn't mean it's not coming. It's coming," co-host Jenna Bush Hager, 44, clarified.

Beyoncé's Act I, Renaissance album, was released in 2022. Cowboy Carter, Act II, came out in 2024.
