Khloé Kardashian doesn't hold dear memories of her experience at Coachella. In the latest episode of her podcast, "Khloé in Wonder Land," the reality TV star divulged the reason behind her decade-long absence from the California music festival.
During the episode, Kardashian addressed a fan's question, "Have you ever been to Coachella?" She confirmed, "I've been once." "It was a long time ago," she reminisced. "I think it was around 2016 or something like that. It wasn't the best experience. I got drugged without my knowledge, but I think everyone else knew. There was some juice at a party we were at. I don't think anyone drugged me intentionally. I just think I was the one who didn't realize everyone else was on drugs."
She added, "I remember drinking that drink and feeling really crazy. No one wants to feel that way and not know why. I remember locking myself in a bathroom for hours. I didn't realize what was happening until it was over that I had been on drugs, and everyone was yelling at me because I wouldn't get out of the bathroom. I was scared. I was in my head. So my experience wasn't good."
Despite Kardashian's negative experience, her sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner attended this year's festival to watch Justin Bieber's headlining performance.
Elsewhere on the podcast, Kardashian reflected on her 2007 DUI arrest. A fan wrote in asking if it was true that Kardashian's friend Malika Haqq did her hair for her mugshot. She explained that "the first time I got arrested for a DUI, it was really scary." She added, "I didn't know I was going to go to jail because it was my very first offense."
Since she was arrested over the weekend, she had to stay there until Monday. "I was in a holding cell with 23 other women who were all prostitutes besides me," Kardashian noted. "But, I was in a very short dress, so I looked questionable, I imagine." So in 2018, when she had to serve a 30-day sentence for violating the terms of her probation, Haqq did do her hair for the mugshot. "For that mugshot, Malika did do my hair," Kardashian confirmed. "She did a good job."
