Lisa of BLACKPINK, amidst her whirlwind schedule, took a moment to visit Punch the beloved monkey. On Saturday, March 7th, the 28-year-old singer shared delightful snaps from her trip to Ichikawa City Zoo in Chiba Prefecture, just outside Tokyo, Japan. Punch, a baby macaque who had captured hearts online due to his previous struggles with bullying at the zoo, was seen carrying his beloved stuffed orangutan toy everywhere he went.

To show her support for the little monkey, Lisa brought her own stuffed orangutan and held it up for Punch to see. In the photos shared on her Instagram Story, the BLACKPINK member radiated a huge grin while wearing a gray hoodie, blue jeans, and a light-colored knitted beanie. She also shared adorable shots of Punch enjoying his time in his cage with his beloved toy.

Lisa has been incredibly busy in recent months and has recently started filming a new movie, Tygo, in South Korea. Last week, BLACKPINK released their new EP titled DEADLINE, marking their first major music release since topping the Billboard 200 chart with Born Pink in 2022. The five-track mini-album features the lead single “Jump,” which reached No. 28 on the Billboard Hot 100 last summer, along with “Go,” “Me and My,” “Champion,” and “Fxxxboy.”

Last year, the group reunited for a sprawling stadium tour after spending time apart pursuing solo projects. LISA, ROSÉ, and JENNIE each released their debut solo albums – Alter Ego, Rosie, and Ruby, respectively – while JISOO debuted her EP Amortgage.
