Blake Lively Joins Ryan Reynolds for PDA-Filled Soccer Outing

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are absolutely winning at date night! Indeed, the former Gossip Girl alum and the Deadpool star enjoyed a romantic night out at the Football Association Challenge Cup in Wales on March 7. While the face-off between Wrexham—which is co-owned by Ryan—and Chelsea was certainly one to watch, all eyes were on the couple as they packed on the PDA.

During one tender moment, Ryan, 49, can be seen embracing his wife in both arms as the pair share a passionate kiss. For the occasion, The Adam Project actor kept it casual in a gray sweatshirt and jeans. Meanwhile, Blake, 38, sported a denim jacket with matching blue jeans. The duo also cozied up for a sweet selfie commemorating the night. As Blake captioned the March 7 Instagram Story snap of the couple on the field alongside a red heart emoji, “What. A. Game. @wrexham_afc @chelseafc.”

The outing comes nearly two months after Ryan broke his silence on Blake’s ongoing legal battle against Justin Baldoni, specifically regarding recently unsealed texts. “Yes, Ryan got involved—what husband wouldn’t support his wife and the mother of his children?” a spokesperson told Puck News in an article published on January 27th, per People. “He saw his wife fighting daily to stand up against sexual harassment in a private and respectful way, only to face retaliation for doing so.”

In fact, Ryan doubled down on his support for Blake, who he married in 2012. “If anything, Ryan feels like he wasn’t angry enough,” the rep continued. “He passionately believes in and will stand up for the basic right to a safe workplace free of harassment and retaliation for his wife and others. Then, now and always.”

E! News has previously reached out to Ryan’s rep for comment but did not hear back. Justin has previously denied all allegations against him.

Ryan—who shares kids James, 11, Inez, 9, Betty, 6, and Olin, 3, with Blake—also opened up about his family life recently. In fact, he shared that his youngest kid watches Green Lantern, the 2011 movie where the couple first met, “every f**king day.” Though the movie notoriously underperformed at the box office, Ryan relishes the chance to teach his kids about life through what he calls his “failures.”

“My kids, all they see is a winner,” Ryan said during a recent appearance at The Wall Street Journal’s CMO Council Summit. “When I go outside, I get pats in the back and it’s a selfie parade, and I oblige everyone pretty much. My kids only see that. So, I’ve learned lately to make sure [I am] talking about the failures and how that is literally the base and ingredient for everything else.”
