Brittany Snow Responds to Plastic Surgery Speculation

Brittany Snow desires to halt the relentless pursuit of answers regarding the changes she's made to her appearance. So fervently, in fact, that the 39-year-old actress from "Hunting Wives" has taken a stand in response to an November video showcasing before-and-after photos of famous women, including Brittany, whom an Instagram user—an aesthetics injector—perceived as having undergone Botox treatment.

"I've never had any surgery. Not one. No nose job (despite what people have told me I needed one! But no), no eyelids, no facelift. Nothing," she wrote on December 12 in the comment section of the post. "I lost baby weight in my face, minimal Botox and lasers. Just for the record."

While the original poster may have been accurate, as the "Pitch Perfect" star admitted to getting the wrinkle-reducing treatment, Brittany's response seemed to be aimed at the many others in the comment section suggesting that some of the stars featured—including Jennifer Lawrence, Dakota Johnson, and Anne Hathaway—had utilized cosmetic procedures beyond just Botox.

The account that originally made the post hailed Brittany's comment, responding, "You look stunning! Thanks for the transparency."

Brittany has previously spoken about her choice not to have plastic surgery, even following a childhood accident that left her with a facial scar. For her, she believes embracing her full self and all that she's been through "adds character."

"I chose not to get plastic surgery on it," Brittany told Today in 2018. "I chose to embrace it." But that didn't mean the "Hairspray" actress didn't still experience voices telling her to change herself, even if she was just a kid.

"When I was little, there was a woman who told me I would never make it because the scar was right in the middle of my forehead," she continued. "She told me that I needed to get plastic surgery on my face because it was distracting. My mom even took me to a plastic surgeon's office to get it removed and I freaked out in the parking lot. I wouldn't go in. I think instinctively my 8-year-old self knew that I needed to keep it."

Ultimately, she's learned over the years to accept her appearance as it is. "There is no set rules of how you need to look," she added. "You should just really like who you are."
