Brooks Nader is candidly honest about her surgical journeys. The star of "Love Thy Nader," who has been vocal about her cosmetic endeavors, has confessed to having second thoughts about a particular surgery she underwent in the past. "I probably shouldn't say this, but I'm going to tell you anyway," she told People in an interview published on March 21. "I had liposuction years ago." However, the 29-year-old wasn't fully pleased with the results of the fat removal procedure, as she experienced some unexpected side effects. "I regret it forever because I didn't need it," she continued. "I feel like it created dimples and ripples and things."
These days, the reality star seems to have a different stance on plastic surgery, as she added, "We need to do less of that and focus on being healthy." Liposuction isn't the only procedure Brooks has undergone to lose weight. In fact, the "Dancing With the Stars" alum previously shared that she was on a GLP-1 weight loss drug, explaining that she received more career opportunities in the modeling industry as a result.
"If I didn't get a job, I would ask [my old agency], 'Can we get feedback from the client?'" she told Bustle in November. "The direct feedback was that I needed to lose 30 pounds. I didn't shed one tear over it. I don't feel bad for myself. I just say, 'The facts are they want me to lose weight. How can I achieve that?'"
"The facts are that when I started GLP-1, my career took off," she went on. "I'm not saying it's okay or right. I think everybody is different – but I lost 30 pounds, and I booked all the jobs."
Brooks also shed light on the matter during a season one episode of "Love Thy Nader" when her sisters Mary Holland, Grace Ann, and Sarah Jane expressed concern over her GLP-1 use ahead of a major photo shoot with Maxim.
"Beauty standards in this industry are so unrealistic that you have to take shortcuts sometimes," she said in a confessional. "I have so many huge life-changing shoots coming up. I feel like the pressure's on, and I'm going to do whatever it takes to look my best."
