This time around, the news breakers are none other than Jimin, Jin, Jungkook, J-Hope, RM, Suga, and V themselves, as they unveil momentous plans for a fresh album and an exhilarating world tour. During their first livestream session in almost three years, held on Tuesday, July 1st, the seven-member band revealed that they are concurrently working on a new album and preparing for a global tour slated for 2026.

Jin, aged 32, Suga, also 32, J-Hope, 31, RM, 30, Jung Kook, 27, and Jimin and V, both 29, spilled the beans further by stating, "As it will be a group album, it will mirror the thoughts and creative visions of each and every member." Echoing their enthusiasm, they reiterated, "We're embarking on this album with the same fervor and passion that fueled our very first steps into the music scene," referring to their upcoming album, the first since 2022, to be followed by a tour.

The K-pop legends also sealed the excitement by confirming a tour in the wake of the album's release, leaving the viewers in anticipation with the teasing remark, "We hope you're as thrilled as we are." This livestream event from BTS came more than a week after Suga's official return from his mandatory military service, having completed his duties on June 21st, 2025, during which he served as a civil servant due to a shoulder injury.

With the official unveiling of the date, the recording for the highly anticipated album is now set to commence this very month, promising an era of musical magic and global adventure from the iconic band.
