Camila Cabello Reacts to Fifth Harmony Bandmates Reuniting Without Her

Published: Sep 02 2025

Camila Cabello is lending her heartfelt support to her former bandmates with unwavering enthusiasm. The vocalist behind the hit "Señorita" exhibited an overflow of encouragement towards the Fifth Harmony members – Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Lauren Jauregui, and Dinah Jane – as they reunited on stage for the first time in seven years during the Jonas Brothers' concert on August 31st.

In a captivating video posted on Fifth Harmony's Instagram on the same day, the quartet donned coordinating black outfits and delivered a synchronized dance performance of their 2015 smash hit "Worth It" at the Dallas concert. Alongside the clip, the group wrote, "Where were you on August 31, 2025? Thank you @jonasbrothers for having us. Felt amazing to be back."

Camila, who was a co-founding member for four years until her departure in 2016, showered her love for the reunion by leaving a comment with four heart emojis beneath the post. Though Fifth Harmony's surprise performance – two years after the "Havana" singer's exit – might have taken many by pleasant shock, Dinah had first hinted at the potential reunion in March.

"I cherish the nostalgia our fans are experiencing, and I'm thrilled that we're getting recognized again," the 28-year-old revealed to Billboard at the time. "Our music made a significant impact back then, but honestly, it felt somewhat overlooked. So, now that it's gaining traction on its own, it just proves that our music speaks volumes."

As for Camila, the "Never Be the Same" crooner has yet to publicly disclose her reasons for opting out of the reunion. However, she has been candid about her initial departure from the girl group. During a March 6th episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, she shared, "My passion evolved into songwriting. Initially, I thought, 'Oh, maybe I want to write for others.' But then it shifted to, 'No, actually, I want to sing these songs myself.'" She further elaborated, "I started drifting away from the group's vision. They were still deeply passionate about it, but I realized, 'I'm not happy here anymore; it doesn't align with what I want.'"
