Cara Delevingne delves deeper into her bond with Taylor Swift, revealing that they even shared a brief stint as roommates. In an exclusive interview with Nikki Glaser for Interview Magazine, the model and actress engaged in a lively conversation with the comedian, who garnered immense praise for her hilarious roast of Tom Brady during a Netflix special earlier this year. As the conversation flowed, Delevingne inquisitively asked Glaser if there was anyone else she'd fancy seeing roasted or taking part in a roast.
"As a die-hard Swiftie, I'd absolutely love to see a roast of Taylor Swift," the 2025 Golden Globes host admitted, "but then again, I wouldn't, because I'd get furious if anyone was genuinely mean to her."
The guest star of Only Murders in the Building concurred but emphasized that Swift could certainly handle it. "The thing about Taylor is, I once witnessed her deliver a roast-worthy speech at someone's wedding," she recounted. "She's one of the funniest, most ingenious individuals. Anyone could roast her with ease, but she's equally capable of giving it back tenfold," she continued, adding that roasting Swift would be a breeze since they once lived together.
Their friendship extends back years, and during a particularly tumultuous breakup for Delevingne, the two became roommates for a short period. "We're vastly different individuals," admitted the Carnival Row star. "She's incredibly homely and took excellent care of me, but we did get up to some—not exactly trouble, but I definitely led her on quite the wild adventure. Just seeing her blush would've been hilarious."
Their camaraderie has been well-documented, with Delevingne supporting Swift at one of her Eras Tour stops and the singer-songwriter attending one of Delevingne's Cabaret performances in London, according to People.
The actress from American Horror Story has also publicly expressed her support for Swift's relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. "I'm over the moon for her," she told E! News last year. "They're definitely a unique pair," she added, "and I'm always cheering for my girl."
