Cardi B might be escalating the rivalry with Nicki Minaj. The "I Like It" rapper, who's been feuding publicly with Nicki since 2018, brought out her rival's ex, Meek Mill, for a surprise performance during her sold-out show in Philadelphia on April 7th as part of her Little Miss Drama Tour. In a clip shared to Meek's Instagram, the Philadelphia native rapped his 2012 hit "Dreams and Nightmares" as Cardi strutted across the stage in a risqué outfit featuring a bustier top and thong bottoms, causing the crowd to erupt in cheers.
Meek was thrilled about his cameo, writing in the caption of the April 8th post alongside sparkle emojis, "Shake the building @iamcardib."
Cardi, 33, and Nicki, 43, first sparked their feud in 2018 when the "Bodak Yellow" rapper saw that the "Bang Bang" rapper allegedly liked a tweet about her parenting skills at a Harper's Bazaar party. Since then, they've continued to trade barbs, with Cardi recently clapping back at the "Anaconda" hitmaker's allegation that her Am I the Drama? album sales were inflated.
"Why you keep bringing up my album?," Cardi wrote on X (formerly Twitter) in September. "It's not the gag that you think it is..You've been in the game for 16 years.. You need to compare yourself to your peers that started around your time."
She also encouraged Nicki—who shares a 5-year-old son with husband Kenneth Petty—to pick on artists her own size, such as Rihanna, Taylor Swift, and Drake.
"Those are the numbers you need to be competing with, and you can't because you're doing lower than all of them," she continued. "I was in high school when you came out. What are you comparing yourself to me for??"
Cardi—mom to kids Kulture, 8, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 18 months old, with ex Offset, as well as a 4-month-old baby boy with Stefon Diggs—slammed the "Super Bass" rapper for further insinuating that she had allegedly contracted Human Papillomavirus (HPV).
"Alright now this is the third tweet talking about my pregnancy," she added. "Lord protect my babies."
