Cardi B didn't waver in her unwavering support for her boyfriend, Stefon Diggs, and the New England Patriots as they faced off against the Houston Texans on January 18th. The "WAP" rapper took to social media to express her excitement and joy at their victory.
"THEY DIDN'T BELIEVE IN US," Cardi wrote on X, responding to a video in which ESPN analysts had predicted a Houston win. "I LIKE US!!!!! WE ALL WE GOT!!!!! WE ALL WE NEED !!!! #patsnation."
The accompanying video showed Cardi shouting at the camera, "What are y'all talking about? Nothing! Nothing!" She posted similar celebratory videos to her Instagram Story, one in which she tagged Stefon and cheered, "Walk 'em down! Walk 'em down in the name of Jesus!"
Cardi, who shares a 2-month-old son with Stefon, as well as kids Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 14 months with estranged husband Offset, also shared an encouraging message to her partner ahead of the game. "MY FAMILY," she wrote on her Story, alongside a picture of Stefon kissing her on the forehead. "You got this !! STEP IN THE NAME OF THE LORD … PATSNATION."
The 33-year-old's support of her partner comes shortly after she defended their decision to celebrate Christmas separately. Stefon spent time with two young children he has from other relationships, while Cardi was home with her kids.
"Y'all need to calm down," she said in a video shared to X on December 29th. "Is y'all cool? Y'all been dragging me for three or four days. Y'all become and y'all been a little bit too mean. I can't change s--t, I can't go back in time. I already had a baby."
Emphasizing that she can't un-birth their baby, she continued, "I don't know what y'all want me to do. We can only go forward now."
But even though Stefon wasn't with them physically, he was still holding Cardi and their son close in his heart. Reposting a post of Cardi cradling their baby son in front of a Christmas tree bedecked in white decorations, Stefon quipped, "Miss yaw. Don't be squeezing him too tight you making him soft."
For her part, Cardi was busy trying to corral her kids to take the perfect holiday photo—an attempt that was ultimately fruitless. As she jokingly captioned her December 25th post, "The perfect Christmas picture don't exist in this house."
