On Tuesday evening, Carlos Santana, a musical legend, was compelled to reschedule his concert in San Antonio, Texas, after being admitted to a hospital for observation due to dehydration, as confirmed by his representative to Fox News Digital. Michael Jensen of Jensen Communications relayed the message with heartfelt regret, stating, "It is with deep disappointment that I must announce the postponement of tonight's show in San Antonio."

Mr. Santana was in the midst of preparing for his performance at the Majestic Theatre when he experienced symptoms indicative of dehydration. In a bid to prioritize his well-being, the decision was made to postpone the concert, emphasized Jensen. "He is recovering well and eagerly anticipates his return to San Antonio, as well as continuing his U.S. Tour. Your understanding is greatly appreciated. The rescheduled date will be announced shortly," he added.

This concert was a part of the 77-year-old guitarist's 'Oneness Tour.' Despite this setback, Santana is still set to enchant audiences in Sugar Land, Texas, on Wednesday night, followed by performances in Thackerville, Oklahoma, on Friday, and Tulsa on Saturday.

Earlier on Tuesday, Santana shared a video from his Monday night concert in Albuquerque, New Mexico, expressing his gratitude. "To our incredible fans in Albuquerque, NM, from the depths of our hearts, we thank you for braving the cold and rain with such radiant energy and love. You danced, you sang, and confronted the elements like warriors of light. Your warmth and passion illuminated the night more brightly than any spotlight ever could. Sharing our heartfelt music with you was an honor beyond words," he penned.

In January, the guitarist had also been forced to postpone his Las Vegas residency after suffering an "accidental fall" at his Hawaii residence. "Carlos was taking a leisurely walk at his vacation home in Kauai when he took a hard fall, breaking his little finger on his left hand," stated a post on Santana's social media by his representative, Michael Vrionis at the time. "He underwent surgery to have pins inserted in the finger and was advised not to play guitar for approximately six weeks. Fortunately, full recovery is expected," Vrionis continued.

He further added, "Carlos is doing well and is eager to return to the stage. He just needs time to heal." Vrionis emphasized, "Santana sincerely regrets these postponements but accidents do happen, and his health is our utmost priority. He looks forward to reuniting with his fans very soon." His Las Vegas residency is now anticipated to commence in September, following the conclusion of his tour.

In 2022, Santana had to cancel several concerts after succumbing to heat exhaustion and collapsing during a performance.
