Chanel has unveiled A$AP Rocky as its latest brand ambassador, marking the occasion with a new short film directed by the visionary Michel Gondry and featuring Rocky alongside the enigmatic Margaret Qualley. Speaking on his new role, Rocky expressed his excitement, stating that the artistic director, Matthieu Blazy, is "pushing fashion forward," as reported by NME. "Matthieu's imagination is leading fashion into uncharted territories. His designs are both sensitive and strong; they have a grounded reality but also invite you to wonder. I'm thrilled to see what he'll bring to Chanel."

Blazy, in turn, praised Rocky as an artist who "puts his heart and soul into every project" and "always delivers with kindness." He further described the rapper's "talent, curiosity, and limitless creativity" as a natural fit for the fashion house.

This appointment adds to a year already filled with high-profile moments for Rocky. In February, he was acquitted of charges related to a 2021 shooting incident, welcomed his third child with Rihanna in September, and headlined Rolling Loud California. Additionally, he appeared in several films, including Spike Lee's Highest 2 Lowest and the indie hit If I Had Legs I’d Kick You.

The reveal of the show is set for December 2nd at 8 pm, NYC time, where we can expect a fusion of artistic brilliance and fashion innovation.
