Charli XCX is determined to keep pushing boundaries, unfazed by any criticism. Following her headline-stealing performance at the Glastonbury Music Festival on June 28th, the singer of the hit "365" addressed her detractors who had taken issue with her use of autotune. On June 29th, Charli, now 32, posted on her social media handle, "Absolutely loving the boomer vibes flooding in about my Glastonbury gig. It's fascinating, to say the least."

Defending her choice to forego a full band, Charli continued, "The notion that singing with deliberate autotune brands you a fraud, or that lacking a traditional band somehow disqualifies you as a 'real artist,' is, quite frankly, the dullest perspective ever. Yawn – sorry, just dozed off. xx" Nevertheless, she invited more comments, stating, "To be honest, I thrive on this discourse. In my opinion, the finest art provokes, divides, and often morphs into something genuinely intriguing, rather than blending into the mundane, easily digestible, and forgettable."

Her Glastonbury set, adorned with a blazing Brat sign, left the crowds mesmerized with hits such as "365," "Von dutch," "party 4 u," and "I Love It." On stage, Charli emotionally confessed, "I'm supposed to have a heart of stone, but right now, this is incredibly emotional... Thank you so much; you're all amazing. But not as amazing as me, bitch!"

She also had a special guest, her pal Gracie Abrams, joining her as the "Apple" girl, whom she adoringly declared, "I love you so much, Gracie."

Post-performance, Charli celebrated by sharing a flurry of Instagram posts capturing the festival's highlights, including snapshots with her friends Cara Delevingne, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Gabbriette. She captioned, "Glastonbury, I had an unforgettable time performing and partying. Thank you a million times for the most exhilarating weekend. I love you all, and I cherish doing my thing. I'm beyond happy. XXX."
