The Moment, rooted in an original concept by Charli xcx herself, revolves around a burgeoning pop star navigating the relentless demands of stardom ahead of her inaugural arena tour. Although scripted, Charli xcx effortlessly embodies a version of herself, with real-life signage bearing her name and the title of her album, Brat, prominently featured in the footage. Yet, the trailer teases rather than reveals much about the plot.
As Charli xcx intones in the trailer, "When I felt like people started to care about me, nothing else mattered. Nothing was more important than Brat." Zamiri makes his feature directorial debut with a script he co-wrote with Bertie Brandes, while Charli xcx and David Hinojosa serve as producers.
