On Tuesday, Canadian actor Spencer Lofranco, best known for his lead roles in films such as Gotti and Jamesy Boys, passed away, as revealed by his brother Santino on Instagram. He was 33 years old. Lofranco's demise is currently under investigation in British Columbia, Canada, where he passed away, according to TMZ. The cause of death has not been determined yet.

Lofranco's journey in acting began as a teenager at the New York Film Academy. His first major role came in 2013's At Middleton, where he played Conrad Hartman, a high school senior touring a college campus in the indie romantic comedy, alongside Andy García and Vera Farmiga. The film premiered at the Seattle International Film Festival.
His breakout role came in Trevor White's biographical crime drama film Jamesy Boy, where he played the troubled teenager James Burns. He then co-starred in Angelina Jolie's 2014 war drama Unbroken as Harry Brooks, opposite Mary-Louise Parker, Ving Rhames, and Domhnall Gleeson. He continued to shine in John Henry Hinkel's thriller film Home and as Billy in Hank Bedford's Dixieland, which premiered at the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival alongside Riley Keough, Chris Zylka, and Faith Hill. He also appeared in the 2016 biopic King Cobra about the life and early career of gay pornographic film actor Sean Paul Lockhart.
Lofranco's final screen appearance was as John Gotti Jr. in the 2018 film Gotti, starring John Travolta in the title role alongside Kelly Preston, Stacy Keach, Pruitt Taylor Vince, William DeMeo, Leo Rossi, Tyler Olson, and Megan Leonard.
In his Instagram post on Thursday, Santino shared photos of his brother during their childhood and a poignant image of Spencer with his dog, capturing the essence of his brother's life and legacy in a poignant and heartfelt manner.
