Cher understands that Kristen Bell has found a good place in life thanks to her husband, Dax Shepard. While the "Believe" singer isn't the biggest fan of her Burlesque co-star's husband, she's happy that Kristen has found her happy ending. During an episode of Dax's Armchair Expert podcast with Kristin on January 5th, Dax asked Cher who her dream partner would be for her. "I know you think she could be better, and I don't disagree," he said.
Cher didn't dispute what Dax, who shares daughters Lincoln, 12, and Delta, 11, with Kristin, said. She explained why she's glad to see them together. "The truth is, I trust her," the Grammy winner said of the Nobody Wants This actress. "So, you must have something that I don't see."

Cher, who debuted her relationship with Alexander "AE" Edwards in 2022, also added, "And you seem like a good dad."
Dax, 51, was determined to get on Cher's good side and shared one of his best qualities. "I'm not threatened by her shining. I love it. The shinier she gets, the better," he said.
Meanwhile, Kristen praised her husband of 12 years. "There's a lot to this man," she told the 79-year-old. "Trust me, he's a slow burn, but you're gonna learn to love him. He's almost too good for me." In fact, she described the comedian as the kind of guy who "polishes you so you shine more."
For Kristen and Dax, their marriage has continued to thrive by embracing each other's ups and downs. "I don't like the idea that you're looking for your perfect puzzle piece because you also have to become a puzzle piece that fits with someone else," Kristen said on SiriusXM's Andy Cohen Live in October. "So if you find two people that are like, 'Yeah, we're going to make this work and that means we're going to compromise constantly and those compromises should work well for both of us.'"
"And sometimes it's going to ebb and sometimes it's going to flow, but we're not going to have checks and balances because we're going to realize it's not me against you, it's us against the world," she continued. "I am glad I chose my husband because he has a commitment to growth at all times."
