Kim Kardashian and her adorable children are enjoying their bond with their new furry friends, the puppies. On Sunday, January 4th, the SKIMS mogul, now 45, shared clips from her Instagram Stories, showcasing her kids playing with their new Pomeranian puppies at home. This was after she surprised each of them with a dog for Christmas.

The first video shared featured Kardashian holding up a cute sable-furred pup to the camera while one of her kids exclaimed in the background, "Mommy, look! It licks me!"
Next, Kardashian's 7-year-old daughter, Chicago West, was filmed kissing and hugging the same pooch in their living room. Her 6-year-old son, Psalm West, could also be seen crawling around on his hands and knees alongside his sister, Chicago, as they chased one of the dark-haired puppies around the living room.
In a final clip, Kardashian filmed herself holding two of the dark-haired puppies alongside Chicago, who was carrying the sable-furred dog. "Hi guys," Kardashian said to the camera, laughing along with Chicago.
On Instagram on December 25th, Kardashian revealed that she had gifted each of her four children a Pomeranian puppy for Christmas. She shares kids North, 12, Saint, 10, Chicago, and Psalm with her ex-husband, Kanye West. "Each kid got a puppy," Kardashian wrote, sharing a photo of all four dogs: two with dark fur, one with a cream coat, and one with sable fur.
Ingrid Newkirk, founder of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), spoke out against Kardashian gifting her children the puppies in a statement shared with PEOPLE on December 28th. "Puppies are not plushies, and it’s a damn shame that Kim missed the chance to be a spokesperson for shelter pups and instead is being rightly slammed on social media for that," said Newkirk. The PETA founder suggested that Kardashian send her kids to volunteer at a local shelter or an adopt-a-thon.
A representative for Kim Kardashian did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment on the new pets at the time.
The controversial pets were not the only Christmas gifts Kardashian's children received to mark the holiday. The mogul also presented North with three "one-of-a-kind" diamond pieces from the celebrity-loved jewelry brand Alex Moss New York. Moss revealed that he worked with North on the accessories and that they included a spike necklace chain adorned with a cartoon skull pendant with "North" engraved on the back, coming in at a whopping 106 carats.
North wasted no time styling her custom pieces. Right after the holidays, the tween posted TikTok videos of herself wearing the statement necklace with a blue camouflage jacket, black pleated skirt, and a bright blue wig.
