Chris Pratt has found himself entangled in a rather hirsute dilemma. The beloved star of "Guardians of the Galaxy" has undergone a stunning transformation, rendering him almost unrecognizable. On June 6th, the 45-year-old unveiled his new, ruggedly bearded appearance on social media during a lunch break, revealing that this scruffy makeover was specifically for his latest television endeavor.
"I'm currently on the set of 'The Terminal List' season two," Chris announced in an Instagram video on June 6th, reprising his role as U.S. Navy SEAL James Reese in the Amazon Prime Video series. "And I just have to say, isn't this hair and makeup absolutely incredible? My team has outdone themselves once again." Raising a hand smeared with fake blood, he added with a wink, "I can't divulge too much, but suffice it to say, there's blood on my hands. Literally."
Chris couldn't help but heap praise upon the hair and makeup crew. "This mustache, this hair—it's like a wig, a fake beard that looks astonishingly realistic," he marveled. However, he admitted that such a rugged look had its downsides, quite literally. "The weird part about wearing a fake mustache or beard is that when you eat, you end up with hair in your mouth," he chuckled. "It's gross because you never know whose hair it is or where it came from. Could it be someone's pubes? No, I don't think so... But hey, I'm hungry, so I don't really care!"
This isn't the first time Chris has showcased a dramatic hair transformation. In the February release "The Electric State," co-starring Millie Bobby Brown, he sported a shaggy hairstyle and a long mustache.
And Chris isn't the only celebrity to have recently undergone an epic hair makeover. Several other stars have also embraced bold changes in their locks.
