Corey Feldman isn't shy about sharing his thoughts. The "Goonies" star, who graced the stage of "Dancing With the Stars" during season 34 before his exit in the second week of competition, has opened up about the "toxic" aspects of his experience on the show. "There was a lot of foolishness in the mudslinging that went on behind the scenes," he revealed in a preview clip from the November 23 episode of the "Gurvey's Law" radio show, as reported by the Daily Mail. "On the surface, everything was great. But the backstage drama and the nonsense that people throw around that show, I've never seen anything like it."

Despite the 54-year-old's insistence that "everybody gets along" on the set of the long-running series, he felt a different narrative unfolding in the public eye. "You start reading these things in the paper," he continued. "Like, 'This person's mad at that person. These people aren't talking to each other.' 'Corey Feldman destroyed the show. He ruined the whole show because he was such an egomaniac and so difficult to work with.'"
In particular, Corey addressed comments made by Jenna's brother-in-law, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who told the Daily Mail that she had "a bit of an uphill climb with Corey" following their elimination in September. "I asked Jenna, I'm like, 'Where is this coming from?'" Corey recalled. "She rolls her eyes and says, 'It's just Maks. Don't pay attention to him. He just wants attention.'"
While Corey and Jenna faced rumors of a feud in the days after this season's cast was announced, the "Stand by Me" actor made it clear that he was grateful for their pairing after their time on the show came to an end. "Thank U Jenna!" he wrote in a comment on Jenna's Instagram page one day after their elimination. "U were an absolute joy to work with. Im so sorry for any negativity the media is using to give the false narrative that our time together was anything less than enjoyable."
