Put those clippers away, David. Recently, David Beckham found himself with a conspicuous bald patch after attempting a DIY haircut at home, and his wife, Victoria, seized the moment to mercilessly roast him on social media, much to everyone's amusement.

In an Instagram Reel shared over the weekend, the former soccer star gave his fans a glimpse of the aftermath of his disastrous buzzcut, explaining how the head of his clippers had unexpectedly detached mid-shave. Victoria's response was promptly audible: "What have you done?!" she exclaimed.

As she burst into hysterical laughter, David retaliated, "It's not funny." But Victoria, undeterred, couldn't contain her thoughts on her husband's grooming gone wrong, noting the endless hours of entertainment their children had derived from the situation. "It does not look good," she bluntly stated. "I'm going to be honest with you. It looks terrible."

Fans, along with Victoria herself, flocked to the comments section of David's post to poke fun at his uneven hairdo. "What have you done?!! Your little face!!! You looked devastated," Victoria wrote playfully. "Oh my days," added their son Romeo, echoing the collective sentiment.

While some fans argued that David could still pull off the lopsided look — "Going to the barber tomorrow asking for a Beckham," one joked — a couple of bald celebrities suggested a quick fix by embracing baldness entirely. "Bro, just do the whole head like that, easy fix," wrote Jason Oppenheim of "Selling Sunset," while Terry Crews added, "Join the bald club."

David first debuted his signature buzzcut in 2000 while playing for Manchester United, a hairstyle that swiftly ascended to pop culture fame. Reflecting on the haircut in the Netflix docuseries "Beckham," which premiered in October 2023, he recounted a conversation with his barber. "I had a hairdresser at the time called Tyler. I said to him, 'I'm gonna cut my hair,' and he responded, 'Are you sure? You really want to do that?'" David reminisced.

Sir Alex Ferguson, Manchester United's coach at the time, promptly confronted David about his drastic haircut ahead of their match against Leicester City. "[Ferguson] said, 'David, take the cap off.' And I replied, 'No,'" David recounted. Hopefully, he'll entrust his hair touch-ups to the professionals next time around.
