Dean McDermott is meticulously laying bare his family's financial landscape. Amid the ongoing whirlwind of divorce proceedings with Tori Spelling, the "Due South" alumnus revealed in an income and expense declaration obtained by E! News that his estranged wife's monthly earnings fluctuate wildly between $3,000 and $75,000, "depending on the job."
In the court documents filed on September 5, Dean detailed that Tori—with whom he shares children Liam, 18, Stella, 17, Hattie, 13, Finn, 13, and Beau, 8—retains custody of their four youngest children 90 percent of the time. Meanwhile, he noted his own visitation schedule with Beau, which includes the first, third, and fifth weekends of each month. E! News has extended invitations for comment to Tori’s representative but has yet to receive a response.
Regarding his own financial standing, the 58-year-old estimated his average monthly income at approximately $3,800, derived from his role as an alcohol and drug counselor at the Conscious Community & Vanity Recovery rehabilitation center. He further disclosed that his live-in girlfriend, Lily Calo, 34, earns around $600 per month, though he clarified that her income does not contribute to their household expenses.
Dean—who is also a father to Jack, 26, from his previous marriage to Mary Jo Eustace—added that he has drawn no income from acting or producing over the past year. He attributed this dramatic downturn to the "SAG/AFTRA strikes and a seismic shift in the industry."
Beyond outlining his earnings, Dean painted a stark picture of his financial obligations, revealing that he is saddled with $215,700 in debt. This includes overdue payments on a $200,000 loan from City National Bank, $12,000 in credit card debt to Care Credit, and an additional $2,500 owed to Capital One. He also listed a $1,200 dental bill, with the last installment paid in March.
Despite their separation in 2023, Dean and Tori have openly discussed their commitment to fostering a healthy co-parenting dynamic and a supportive friendship. In fact, Dean publicly lauded her for her "amazing job" during her stint on "Dancing With the Stars" last fall. "I’m so proud of you," he gushed in an Instagram video in September 2024. "You delivered two stunning performances on 'Dancing With the Stars.' I witnessed firsthand how hard you worked and the injuries you powered through. Your dedication and work ethic are truly remarkable."
