On July 9, Wednesday, Lovato unveiled a mesmerizing snapshot seemingly captured during a fresh photoshoot. Adorned in a sleek black mini dress, she turned her gaze over her shoulder, captioning the post with the evocative line, "I’m not so sure, I’ve ever felt like this before."
A day hence, another teaser materialized, this instance in the form of a video. In the fleeting footage, Lovato strides confidently toward the lens, donned in a leotard, stockings, and an oversized jacket. As she silently enacts the lyrics, "I’m not so sure, I’ve ever felt like this before / I can’t deny, it feels so right," the ambiance of the visuals and soundscape hint at a new, sensuous, and self-assured trajectory.
Although the singer has yet to officially proclaim a release date or album moniker, she did affirm during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in September 2024 that fresh tunes were forthcoming. At that juncture, Lovato revealed, "I’m sort of navigating my sound at present."
