Demi Moore is making a bold change to her iconic look. At the premiere of "La Bola Negra" at the 79th annual Cannes Film Festival on Thursday, May 21, the 63-year-old actress made a striking appearance with a shoulder-grazing hairstyle, departing from her usual long locks.

Moore graced the red carpet in a stunning floor-length sapphire blue gown with an oversized bow detail and a short train by Self-Portrait. The custom look was designed by the brand's founder and creative director, Han Chong, and crafted in the British fashion house's London atelier. She completed the ensemble with a statement necklace and black sling-back pumps.

The actress also debuted a glamorous lob haircut, parting her dark brunette hair to the side and styling it into voluminous curls that barely touched her shoulders.

Earlier this year, during Milan Fashion Week, Moore shocked fans with a short hairstyle. While attending Gucci's FW26 Fashion Show at Palazzo Delle Scintille on February 26, Moore traded her signature long dark hair for a trendy wet-look bob.

The look was crafted by celebrity hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos, who shared the transformation on Instagram. He called the look the "Demi-tris BoB."

"I wanted to give Demi a very bold and fashion-forward look for [Gucci creative director] Demna's show," Giannetos said in a press release. "It is inspired by the silhouettes of the new collection. I felt an amazing, short, above-the-shoulder bob with this very sleek wet texture would be perfect to complement her look. It's a big change for Demi – we've never seen her like this before! She looks very cool, effortless, and modern. And it highlights her personality."

At the show, Moore paired her edgy new hairstyle with an all-leather ensemble of a fitted black jacket and slim black pants, put together by celebrity stylist Brad Goreski. He and Moore shared the look on a joint Instagram post. She wore large shades and black stilettos and carried a black handbag to complete the look. The full look was by Gucci's new creative director, Demna Gvasalia, per the post.

Moore also stars in "I Love Boosters," which opens in theaters on Friday, May 22, and in the Paramount+ series "Landman."
