Miranda Priestly would certainly not condone this! Fans detected a delightful yet somewhat perplexing editing error in the April 6th trailer for The Devil Wears Prada 2. Nevertheless, this minor mishap only goes to prove that the sequel to the 2006 film is eagerly anticipated.

In the trailer, Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway) returns to Runway magazine, appearing as stunning as ever as the new features editor. During one shot of her crossing a bustling New York City street, dressed in a chic grey suit and oversized sunglasses, discerning viewers noticed a bystander leaning out of a taxi, capturing the iconic moment on her iPhone. Although Anne remained in character, the onlooker appeared ecstatic to see the actress in action, snapping photos of her from the car. "This girl having her phone just wide out the window in the trailer is frying me," one fan wrote on X, formerly Twitter, while another joked in the comments, "Because that’s Andy Sachs. A million girls would kill for that job!"
In addition to Anne, Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, Stanley Tucci, and others are returning to reprise their respective roles as editor Miranda, former assistant Emily, and art director Nigel. And they aren't the only familiar faces in the stacked lineup. Simone Ashley, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, B.J. Novak, Pauline Chalamet, Caleb Hearon, and Helen J. Shen have all been confirmed to appear in the film.
Meanwhile, Lady Gaga, Sydney Sweeney, Ashley Graham, Ciara, Marc Jacobs, Paige DeSorbo, and Amelia Dimoldenberg were all spotted on set during filming last year. "We feel a little bit like zoo exhibits," Emily quipped about the on-location shoots in a September interview with E! News. "But that’s OK. People are excited."
However, the 43-year-old noted that she cannot reveal even a shredded piece of cheese's worth of details about the film. As she put it, "I can tell you nothing."
