In a heartfelt statement provided to TMZ, Chapman and his wife expressed their profound grief over the loss of their beloved grandson. "We are mourning as a family over this incomprehensible and tragic accident," they said. "We kindly request continued prayers as we navigate through this difficult time and grieve the loss of Anthony." The couple also asked for privacy as they come to terms with their tragic loss.

Local police responded to a call about a shooting at around 8 p.m. local time, according to TMZ. No arrests have been made, as authorities have deemed the incident to be isolated. An investigation into the matter is ongoing.

Zecca, who works alongside Chapman as part of his bounty hunting team, has been deeply impacted by the events of the weekend. Chapman and Francie tied the knot in 2021, following the passing of their respective spouses.

Chapman gained widespread fame for his role in the reality TV series "Dog the Bounty Hunter," which aired for eight seasons from 2004 to 2012. The show also featured his late wife, Beth Chapman, alongside other family members. The couple later starred in "Dog and Beth: On the Hunt," which aired on CMT for three seasons from 2013 to 2015. They made a return to television with "Dog's Most Wanted" on WGN America in 2019.
