The 29-year-old singer has been in a relationship with the 35-year-old London native, Turner, for nearly a year and a half. Turner, who is renowned for his roles in "Fantastic Beasts" and "Masters of the Air," and received a BAFTA nomination in 2020 for his performance in BBC One's "The Capture," is now engaged to the singer.
"Yes, we're engaged," she revealed to British Vogue, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "This decision to grow old together, to embark on this life journey hand in hand, and to be each other's best friends forever—it's a feeling like no other."
Rumors of their engagement first surfaced last Christmas when she posted photos of herself sporting a dazzling ring. She shared with Vogue that Turner had the ring custom-made after consulting with her closest friends and sister.
"It's so perfectly me," she gushed. "It's wonderful to know that the person you'll spend the rest of your life with knows you inside out."
Although they haven't set a wedding date just yet, Lipa explained that she needs to wrap up her ongoing world tour, which concludes in Mexico in December, while Turner is tied up with filming commitments. He is set to star in the Apple TV sci-fi series "Neuromancer," based on William Gibson's 1984 novel.
"We're just savoring this moment," she said with a smile. "I've never been the type to ponder over weddings or dream about my wedding attire. But now, suddenly, I find myself wondering, 'What would I wear?'"
