"When it comes to poking fun at others' appearances, I personally find it rather unamusing," Dylan Sprouse candidly shared. During a recent guest spot on Andy Cohen's Radio Andy on SiriusXM, the actor divulged his reasons for declining to participate in a scripted "fat joke" targeting his on-screen mother, the esteemed Kim Rhodes, in their hit series 'The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.' Promoting his upcoming film 'The Duel,' Sprouse elaborated, "Jokes are abundant, but if they involve belittling someone's looks, they simply don't tickle my funny bone, unless they're self-deprecating, which I find quite charming."

Flashing back to November 2023, Rhodes recounted her pregnancy days on the 'Back to the Best' podcast, revealing a pivotal moment where Sprouse, amidst filming, steadfastly refused to deliver a weight-based joke scripted for her. Despite the executive producer's insistence, Sprouse stood his ground. "He declared, 'I wouldn't dare disrespect any woman like that, especially not her. Write something genuinely amusing, and I'll deliver it with glee,'" Rhodes reminisced, emphasizing the Sprouse twins' unwavering support and protectiveness towards everyone on the 'Suite Life' set. "Their young age belied their profound understanding of safeguarding a conducive work environment; it was truly admirable."

Cohen, during Thursday's radio broadcast, marveled at Sprouse's courage to confront an executive producer at the tender age of 14 or 15. Sprouse, with a twinkle in his eye, quipped, "You'd be amazed by the confidence that comes with helming your own show at 11." Cohen, amused, responded, "You were indeed a benevolent ruler." Sprouse humbly concurred, adding, "Well, I was a bit of a burly adolescent back then, still finding my footing until around 18. And my father, he kept us firmly grounded, which helped tremendously."
