Elizabeth Hurley and Billy Ray Cyrus have officially confirmed their relationship on Instagram. The British actress and the American country musician cozy up in a picture shared on their Instagram accounts on Sunday, adorned with the simple caption, "Happy Easter." In the snapshot, Cyrus, adorned with a zesty lime green bunny ears headband, envelops Hurley in a side hug, planting a tender kiss on her cheek. Donning a cowboy hat, Hurley beams with a radiant smile as they lean against an aged wooden fence amidst what seems to be a sprawling open field.

Previously, there had been no hints of a romantic connection between the pair, although Hurley had set a video to Cyrus's 1993 hit "She's Not Cryin' Anymore" on her Instagram from the Maldives on April 9th. Representatives for Hurley and Cyrus have been contacted by Entertainment Weekly for comments.

Damian Hurley, the actress's son from her previous marriage to American businessman and Shangri-La Entertainment founder Steve Bing, expressed his blessings to the couple with a celebratory emoji followed by a red heart in the comments section. Other notable commenters had mixed reactions, including Little House on the Prairie actress Melissa Gilbert, who wrote, "Wait…what?" While Gilbert has never shared the screen with Hurley or Cyrus, she did appear on the 14th season of Dancing With the Stars in 2012, while Cyrus participated in the reality competition series' fourth season in 2007.

Cyrus filed for divorce from Australian singer Firerose in June 2024, just seven months after their marriage. The musicians started dating in 2022, a few months after Cyrus separated from his wife of 29 years, Tish Cyrus, and the mother of Noah and Miley Cyrus.

Hurley was previously married to Indian businessman Arun Nayar from 2007 to 2010. Shortly after their divorce, she announced her engagement to Australian cricketer Shane Warne, but they split in 2013. Hurley was also in a long-term relationship with Hugh Grant for 13 years, from 1987 to 2000. In a 2015 episode of Watch What Happens Live, Hurley reminisced about Grant, saying, "He remains my best friend to this day. Even if he were sitting here, I'd say he used to really annoy me. I love him, but he's very annoying... My friends used to call him Grumplestiltskin." Hurley's sentiments mirrored Grant's own comments a decade earlier, where he confirmed in 2003, "we're good friends," but lightly joked about his romantic appeal, adding, "I'm full of poison and jealousy.... Virtually no milk of human kindness."
