Amidst her ongoing custody battle with Elon Musk, who she alleges is the father of her infant son, Romulus, Ashley St. Clair, a 31-year-old woman, finds herself grappling with financial woes. In a poignant revelation during the inaugural episode of her podcast, "Bad Advice with Ashley St. Clair," aired on August 18th, Ashley disclosed that she was on the brink of being evicted from her luxurious $15,000-a-month New York City apartment.
"After a turbulent year marked by career implosion, questionable life decisions, and an unexplainable gap in my LinkedIn profile, I've resolved to launch a podcast," Ashley confessed. "Faced with eviction, Polymarket came through with a $10,000 ad deal, effectively ensuring that Polymarket has kept a roof over my head."
Back in April, Ashley, a conservative influencer, claimed that Elon had offered her a whopping $15 million, coupled with monthly installments of $100,000, according to The Wall Street Journal, in exchange for her silence regarding their alleged child. However, she turned down the offer, asserting to Elon's wealth manager, Jared Birchall, "I refuse to let my son feel like a hidden secret."
While Elon, who fathered 13 other children with three different women, has yet to publicly acknowledge Romulus as his son, a paternity test revealed a 99.9999% probability of him being the father, as reported by The WSJ.
A month prior to her eviction notice, Ashley was spotted surrendering the keys to her $100,000 Tesla outside her Manhattan apartment, addressing her financial plight. "I need to compensate for the 60% reduction Elon imposed on our son's child support," she told reporters, hinting at possible vindictiveness on Elon's part. "That's just how he operates when women speak out." She added, "You can check the stocks; I'm not the only one cleaning up his mess."
Although Elon hasn't addressed the alleged decrease in child support payments, he did respond to the paternity question. "I'm unsure if the child is mine, but I'm not opposed to finding out," the Tesla CEO wrote on X. "No court order is necessary." He continued, "Regardless of my uncertainty, I've already given Ashley $2.5 million and am sending her $500,000 annually."
Regarding how Ashley disclosed Romulus's birth, whom she claims is Elon's 13th child, after five months of keeping him out of the public eye, she found it increasingly challenging to maintain his privacy. "Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world," she wrote on X on February 14th. "Elon Musk is the father. I kept this a secret to safeguard our child's privacy and safety, but it's become evident that the tabloids intend to expose him, regardless of the harm it may cause." She continued, "I want our child to grow up in a normal and secure environment. Therefore, I implore the media to respect our child's privacy and refrain from intrusive reporting."
