Eminem's family is blossoming with new joy. The rapper's daughter, Alaina Marie Scott, has joyfully announced that she is expecting her first child with her husband, Matt Moeller, whom she married in 2023. "THE BEST OF YOU + ME," she captioned an Instagram post on October 12, sharing the heartfelt news. "For months, I’ve carried a tiny heartbeat inside me, one that has already transformed mine in every conceivable way. There’s an indescribable feeling knowing that a little life is growing, dreaming, and evolving within you, all while you go about your daily routine, whispering prayers and hopes that only they can hear."
"I’ve never felt more grateful for this precious gift and the opportunity to expand our family, something we’ve longed for," the 32-year-old added. "Thank you, God, for this blessing. Baby M, we can’t wait to meet you, little one."
Alaina—who was adopted by Eminem in the early 2000s—shared a series of captivating photos alongside her announcement, revealing how she surprised Matt with the news at their future home, which they are currently in the process of building. In the snapshots, she can be seen leading Matt, blindfolded, into a room adorned with gold "BABY M" balloons. Upon removing his blindfold, he discovers a shoebox containing baby Nike sneakers and a positive pregnancy test.
The couple beams with happiness as they embrace, with Alaina holding up a onesie that reads, "Baby Moeller coming 2026."
Alaina—whose biological mother is Dawn Scott, the late sister of Eminem's ex-wife, Kim Mathers—tied the knot with Matt two years ago, with the rapper himself walking her down the aisle. "I had an 80-foot-long black and white checkered aisle, and my dad walked me down it," Alaina told People after her wedding in June 2023. "He wasn’t going to miss that."
Her pregnancy news comes on the heels of her sister Hailie Jade's recent arrival of her first baby, Elliot, now seven months old, whom she shares with her husband, Evan McClintock. The influencer, 29, recently opened up about how becoming a parent has deepened her appreciation for what her father went through while navigating parenthood in the public eye.
"Over time, I’ve come to understand the struggles my father faced," she told People in June, "wanting to protect our privacy while also feeling proud and wanting to celebrate his kids."
"It’s all about finding that balance between openness and privacy," she added. "That balance has become even more important to me as I navigate the journey of parenthood."
