Euphoria Season 3 Teases OnlyFans, Time Jump and More Shocks For Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney in Trailer

The trailer for season three of Euphoria has officially debuted, and we've never been happier. It's not to say the characters on the HBO hit feel the same, though. The trailer revealed shocking fates for its stars, including Rue (Zendaya), Cassie (Sydney Sweeney), Nate (Jacob Elordi), Lexi (Maude Apatow), Jules (Hunter Schafer), and Maddy (Alexa Demie).

The trailer begins with Rue admitting, "A few years after high school, I don't know if life was exactly what I wished," and we see her pedaling drugs. But there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel. "But somehow, for the first time," she continues, sitting in a church, "I was beginning to have faith." That is, until drug lord Laurie (Martha Kelly) shows up, calling in Rue's debt.

While Rue scrambles to pay her back and gets caught between two seemingly warring drug lords, the rest of the trailer teases the fates of her former Eastland High classmates. Cassie and Nate are hearing wedding bells, though the former's decision to share adult content online seems to be putting a strain on their relationship. "I work all day," Nate says. "My bride-to-be is spread-eagled on the internet."

And while Lexi and Rue both lament being single in one scene, Lexi teases, "You hear about Jules?" It appears Rue's former love has also found a creative way to make ends meet, with Maddy saying, "It's not that weird, every girl I meet is a sugar baby." (Maddy, for her part, looks to have found a career as a stripper.)

But the season promises new characters as well, with newcomer Darrell Britt-Gibson's character warning, "I'm of the belief certain people are cursed. I don't pretend to know why, but there's gotta be something wrong with them." And indeed, it would appear trouble continues to follow the former high schoolers wherever they go: The rest of the trailer shows flashes of a bloodied Nate, Rue holding a machine gun, Maddy throwing a bottle, and of course, Rue running for her life.

Coming this April, the season picks up some years after the events of Season two, with the Euphoria crew all grown up and entering adulthood. As the trailer indicates, although the gang has officially graduated high school, there will be no shortage of drama on the series. In fact, the show's creator Sam Levinson "feels strongly" that what's to come is "the best season yet."

"I will say that Cassie and Nate do in fact get married. I'm confirming it," the director told Variety in an interview published in December 2025. "And I promise that it will be an unforgettable night."

Jules is in art school, very nervous about having a career as a painter and trying to avoid responsibility at all costs. Maddy is working in Hollywood at a talent agency for a manager; she's obviously got her own side hustles going. And Lexi is an assistant to a showrunner played by Sharon Stone, who is just absolutely delightful and a true icon.

That's right: the Casino star will be joining the cast, and she's not the only new addition. Grammy winner Rosalía, former NFL running back Marshawn Lynch, and A Different World star Kadeem Hardison are also entering the mix. Sam isn't the only member of the Euphoria team who's disclosed new details about the show. During her June 5 appearance on The Tonight Show, Sydney told Jimmy Fallon that her "crazy" character is "even worse" in the upcoming season. And she has one major piece of advice: "Hold on to those dildos," Sydney joked at Variety's Power of Women red carpet in Los Angeles in December. She also confirmed that there will be plenty of tears from her character, adding, "It's Cassie, what do you expect?"
