Jason and Travis Kelce couldn't have anticipated how much their mother would delve into the game. After Donna Kelce was eliminated from episode three of Peacock's "The Traitors," her sons shared their thoughts on her strategy.
"I thought Mom did a fantastic job, and I loved watching her in it," Jason, 38, said during the Jan. 14 episode of their New Heights podcast. "She was far more deceitful and devious than I ever thought Mom could be, which was surprising." Travis echoed his sentiments, honoring Donna with his "stamp of the week" for the episode, a recurring segment where the brothers give shout-outs.

"For my stamp of the week, I'm keeping it in the family," said Travis, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end. "Dude, I'm going Mom all day. Did you watch this? I was so proud of her, man. She looked like she was having a blast, enjoying it all."
He added, "She was the first ever secret traitor that the show has ever had and showed everybody what she's got. And it was just so cool to see her in this moment." They were especially glad she made friends along the way, despite being the Secret Traitor.
"Shout-out to my guy Ron Funches for sticking by her side and being kind to her," Travis said. "I'm sure he probably felt a certain way after he found out that she was the Secret Traitor." But most importantly, they were thrilled to see the 73-year-old pursuing her dream.
"It was just so fun to see her out there, living out her dream, giving the world a beautiful message about being fortunate enough to do these things at her age and where she is in life," Travis, engaged to Taylor Swift, said. "And it's just so cool to see her live in that moment, man."
Donna was also inspired by Taylor, whose "Vigilante S---t" she quoted on the season four premiere. "Don't get mad, get even," she said, piggybacking on Taylor's lyric, "Don't get sad, get even." And who else inspired her? Her family, whom she revealed are big fans of the show.
"They're so excited," she explained during the Jan. 8 premiere. "Jason is the one that got me involved. We just literally, one weekend during playoffs, we binged it—it was great."
