Continuing his words, Frankie added, "We've all had our battles with COVID at this point. We know she's going to be just fine." Amidst the event, where Niecy Nash-Betts was honored with the Icon of the Year Award, Frankie also paid tribute to his sister's performance as Glinda the Good in the screen adaptation of the Broadway play's second act, describing her return to the Oscar-nominated role as "fantastic."

"I've seen it four times now and it's truly spectacular," he enthused. "It only gets better every time. I learn something new about my sister's character with each viewing. Her acting is masterful, her craft on full display. I encourage everyone to experience it for themselves."

Meanwhile, Frankie's own contribution was celebrated at the bash, which honored the most impactful and influential LGBTQ+ individuals of 2025. "It's such an honor to be on this list this year," he expressed. "I live my life for my community. All my art, everything I do, I put out into the world in the hopes that it inspires others to be true to themselves."

And the Big Brother alum, who married Hale Leon in 2022, hopes to inspire others by embracing his full identity. "I have the privilege of waking up every day as my authentic self," he said. "I never have to question, 'Should I hide who I am today?'"
