Earlier in October, Variety had reported that Gayle was considering leaving the network's morning show next year, as her contract with CBS was set to end in May. However, CBS news had refuted the rumors, stating that "there have been no discussions with Gayle about her contract that runs through May 2026." They added, "She’s a truly valued part of CBS and we look forward to engaging with her about the future."
At the star-studded event, Gayle looked effortlessly elegant in a red blazer and matching trousers, radiating grace and poise.
