Glen Powell’s Ex Gigi Paris Debuts Romance With Cooper Helfet

Published: Oct 28 2025

Gigi Paris has taken the red carpet by storm, literally and figuratively, as she strolled the 2025 Angel Ball in New York City on October 27, accompanied by NFL star Cooper Helfet. This is the model's first public romance since her split from Glen Powell, a separation that was partially fueled by the whirlwind of romance rumors surrounding Glen and his Anyone But You co-star, Sydney Sweeney.

For the elegant occasion, Gigi, 32, donned a beige L’Agence silk dress, accessorized with an emerald and diamond necklace, while Cooper, the former Seattle Seahawks tight end, looked dapper in a classic black suit with a vibrant yellow patterned tie. The pair's appearance was a stark contrast to the tumultuous ending of Gigi's previous relationship.

"I had two options," Gigi shared on the Too Much podcast in June. "I could either pretend like I was going along with everything and have everyone wonder, 'Are they hooking up? Are they not hooking up? Is she okay with this? What the f---?' Or stand up for myself and say, 'No, I'm actually not okay with this, and I'm walking away.'" And that's exactly what she did, though she admitted, "I was shattered."

Gigi emphasized the importance of respect and decency in her decision to part ways. "Like, don't make an ass out of me. Don't make a fool out of someone you've been with for over three years, talking about forever with. Just have some decency, you know?" She concluded, "And at the end of the day, it was like, 'Well, work comes first.' And if that's the case, power to you, that's your priority. I gotta walk away."

Glen Powell, on the other hand, shared his perspective on the breakup with GQ in September. "I will always have nothing but love and respect for her," he said. "Everybody's always going to have their own narrative on things and all that. And she's welcome to it." He added that relationships are difficult and when two people part ways, they each tell their own story.

For Glen and Sydney, the rumors served a purpose – to promote their romantic comedy Anyone But You. "The two things that you have to sell a rom-com are fun and chemistry," Glen told The New York Times in 2024. "Sydney and I have a ton of fun together, and we have a ton of effortless chemistry. That's people wanting what's on the screen off the screen, and sometimes you just have to lean into it a bit—and it worked wonderfully."
