Kelsey Grammer is raising a glass to a new addition to his family. The 70-year-old, who was a beloved star of Frasier, recently shared that his wife Kayte Walsh, 46, has welcomed their fourth child together – a son named Christopher. "It was just three days ago," Kelsey revealed on the October 27 episode of their Pod Meets World podcast, alongside cohosts Danielle Fishel, Will Friedle, and Rider Strong. "Christopher has joined the family."

With Kayte, Kelsey is already the proud father of Faith, 12, Gabriel, 10, and James, 8. But that's not all – he's also dad to Spencer, 41, from his previous relationship with Doreen Alderman, and Greer, 33, with ex-partner Barrie Buckner. Plus, he shares Mason, 23, and Jude, 20, with ex-wife Camille Grammer. As Kelsey put it, "It's now eight kids."
Kayte, who married Kelsey in 2011, first announced her pregnancy back in June during an outing in London. And Kelsey was overjoyed about expanding their family, as he's previously shared that fatherhood is one of the most fulfilling roles he's played in life. "My children – my young and older children – the happiest I ever am is if they're all in the same room together," the Emmy winner told Variety in 2024. "My work has allowed me to be able to do that. I’ve been given this great experience. It’s been painful and challenging and hard and tragic – all those things. But boy, it’s a great life. And I want to pass that on to them."
Indeed, Kelsey has already passed on some of what he's learned over the years to his kids. In fact, the Cheers actor said that several of his offspring have opted to pursue careers in the entertainment industry just like their dad. "Kayte and I were talking about how it’s really something that a child would follow in their father’s footsteps," he said. "To think that all my kids, at least the ones that have a hand in the air, are ready to take responsibility for their lives and are all drawn to this industry. [Kayte] said, 'That’s something to be proud of.'"
