Global Citizen, at the forefront of international advocacy, strives to eliminate extreme poverty. Hugh Jackman, renowned for his talents, will helm the festivities, accompanied by the illustrious Jane Goodall and the festival's curator, Chris Martin.

"The hunger crisis is intensifying, infectious diseases are rampant, debt is mounting, and last year marked the hottest temperatures on record," a statement from Global Citizen resonates. "Governments worldwide are scaling back their foreign aid contributions, with over half of G7 nations proposing cuts this year. Despite the widening gap between the world's needs and political feasibility, the plight of the most vulnerable communities is more urgent than ever. This is a pivotal year for the global community to rally support for frontline organizations, invest in life-saving solutions, and take action today to safeguard tomorrow."

Free tickets to the Global Citizen festival are available, earned through meaningful actions on the Global Citizen app or at globalcitizenfestival.com, demanding reforms from governments and private sector leaders. This year, organizers urge citizens to champion the fight against poverty, safeguard our planet, and demand equity.

"Each of us has a crucial role in ending extreme poverty and standing up for equality," Doja Cat enthused in a statement. "I'm eagerly anticipating being a part of this momentous evening of positive transformation."

"For over a decade, Global Citizen has made a life-altering impact for nearly 1.3 billion people across the globe," Jackman added. "On September 28th, we will once again unite to help eradicate extreme poverty, defend our planet, and demand equity. I eagerly await the opportunity to see you all on Central Park's Great Lawn, collectively voicing our demands for change on behalf of the world's most vulnerable communities."
