A renowned Grammy-nominated opera singer, Jubilant Sykes, was found brutally stabbed to death in his Southern California home, prompting a swift police response that culminated in the arrest of his 31-year-old son, Micah, in connection with the heinous crime.

The incident unfolded on Monday night, when authorities received a distressing report of an ongoing assault at the residence. A press release from the Santa Monica Police Department on Tuesday, December 9th, revealed that Sykes, a 71-year-old baritone, was discovered with multiple stab wounds.
