Hailey Bieber, according to a TikTok creator, allegedly gave a thumbs-up to a video that poked fun at her spouse, Justin Bieber's ex, Selena Gomez, as well as Gomez's fiancé, Benny Blanco. On Wednesday, a user named @courtneypresto shared a purported screenshot on TikTok, showcasing Hailey's verified account having "liked" a video posted on February 14th, which mocked photos from Gomez and Blanco's shoot for Interview Magazine.
In the original post, the TikTokker, known as Courtney on the platform, overlayed the photos with the caption, "I genuinely can't decide which is the worst." She playfully apologized for subjecting everyone to these visuals but insisted, "I had to look at these photos so you do too." The accompanying text on her video read, "This is the WORST."
Courtney clarified that her TikTok video was meant to be a bit "shady" towards Gomez. However, she believed Hailey's alleged endorsement served as concrete evidence that the tension between the two ladies was very much alive. "I feel like this is definitive proof that when Hailey Bieber says, 'Oh, it's all love. It's all good, we have absolutely no beef. Everything is completely fine,' she's lying," the social media user asserted.
In response to these allegations, Hailey's representative denied them in a statement to Page Six on Sunday, stating emphatically, "This never happened. This entire story has been fabricated by a content creator seeking to exploit an old, worn-out narrative."
Gomez, 32, and Hailey, 28, have long been pitted against each other due to their shared romantic history with the "Boyfriend" singer. Gomez was in a relationship with Justin, 31, from 2010 until 2018. Mere months after their breakup, the "Yummy" singer proposed to Hailey in July 2018, and they tied the knot two months later. Hailey and Justin welcomed their firstborn, son Jack Blues Bieber, in August 2024. Meanwhile, Gomez went public with her relationship with Blanco, 37, in December 2023.
In September 2022, during her appearance on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, Hailey emphasized that between her and Gomez, there existed only "respect" and an abundance of "love," painting a vivid picture of their bond.Furthermore, in December 2024, Hailey seemingly demonstrated her absence of malice towards Gomez by "liking" Gomez's engagement announcement on Instagram.
